Meles Zenawi Incites genocide again in Ogaden

 On August 11, 2010, Meles Zenawi, the Prime Minister of Ethiopia, in a bid to mislead the international community, stated in a press conference that a particular clan in the Ogaden is fighting against his government and implied that his regime will militarily end this conflict. His similar declaration on June 11, 2007 resulted in the killing of thousands of civilians, burning of scores of villages and unlawful detention of thousands of defenseless civilians |

The Ogaden national Liberation Front congratulates the Djibouti people and their president His Excellency Ismaaciil Cumar Geelle on the occasion Independence Day of the Republic of Djibouti.
The independence of Djibouti is a symbol of freedom for the Somali people still under colonial rule. May the people of Djibouti prosper!

| The Ethiopian government claim that it had concluded a deal with a large ONLF faction is a self-serving blatant lie intended to mislead the international community. It is not the first time that Ethiopia used this cheap trick concerning agreements with ONLF. In 1995, it used few stooges to promote ‘a faction of ONLF that it claimed to have accepted the constitution and participated in the so called elections’ of that time. Recently, in her usual self-deception, Ethiopia was celebrating for signing peace agreement the defunct former Al-Itihad elements, but that does not change the situation on the ground. |

For the past couple of days, streams of people from five different continents who are from the Diaspora communities have been arriving at the Swedish capital. These individuals were representatives of the communities in many countries from these five continents: Europe, North America,Australia, Africa and Asia.
In an interview with BBC World Service, the ONLF Foreign Secretary, Mr. Abdirahman Sh Mahdi outlines the ONLF's position towards any peace with the Ethiopian Government
